Summary/Objective

The National Sales Manager is responsible for growing company sales and establishing active communication and engagement with sales representatives to aid their success. This position is for a self-motivated, confident, and driven individual who focuses on driving sales and building relationships.

  • Assists in developing meaningful sales reports that can be used with representatives as a tool to monitor and grow sales and evaluate a representative's effectiveness
  • Identifies talented sales representatives and agencies in order to recommend changes to existing representation
  • Assists in developing a Display Tracking Program to create a more proactive approach to customer's display items
  • Provides high-quality customer service for customers designated as commercial and/or national accounts
  • Creates innovative ways to build, develop, and pursue new business opportunities

Work Environment

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with the expected minimum 40 hours a week. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Overtime may be required as necessary.


Travel

Up to 2-3 weeks of travel annually may be required.


Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Four years of business development experience required
  • Four years of sales experience required
