What You'll Be Doing:
The Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for overseeing and managing the an admissions team in achieving financial targets. They work closely with their team and other leaders to develop and implement strategies to attract and enroll prospective students. This includes local business development efforts in the community, coaching and training, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and supporting students at our Tech Academy.
The Associate Director also collaborates with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students once enrolled. They may also be involved in recruitment efforts, such as attending career fairs and conducting information sessions. Additionally, the Associate Director may assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to admissions. Strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a thorough understanding of the institution's programs and admissions requirements, are essential for success in this role.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for bonus potential based on quarterly targets.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Manage and lead a team of Admissions Advisors
• Recruit, train and develop highly talented Admission Advisors (AA’s).
• Monitor the daily/weekly activities of AA’s to ensure targets are achieved.
• Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in management of lead distribution to the team.
• Evaluate performance relative to goals and offer practical solutions to reach potential.
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.
• Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
• Onsite leadership of a campus including students and staff (supported by national shared services).
• Facilitate performance evaluations.
• Learning policies and procedures.
• Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement.
• Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards and ACI
• Ensure compliance with all TWC and VA regulations, manage yearly renewal requirements and assist in preparing for state audits.
Must Have:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Equivalent directly related experience may substitute for the Bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence others internally and externally.
• A strong passion for working and helping others achieve their career goals.
• Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• 3+ years of experience in sales or related field.
Nice To Have:
• Experience leading a sales function or admissions team in a management role.
• Experience doing business development or leading a business development team.
• Direct or Channel sales experience.
• Knowledge in the IT & Cybersecurity certification training space.
• Experience working in Salesforce.com
