Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to assist our Human Resources department in building, updating, and maintaining comprehensive job descriptions. The HR Intern will play a key role in ensuring that job descriptions are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the company’s standards and employment laws. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in HR practices and contribute to the foundational processes of our HR department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Partner with others in the department to develop career ladders
*Collaborate with HR team members and department managers to gather relevant information for updating current job descriptions and creating new job descriptions where necessary.
*Ensure all job descriptions are aligned with company formatting standards and comply with legal requirements.
*Assist with compensation and salary profiling
*Conduct data analysis in human resource information systems (HRIS)
*Develop materials and assist with preparation efforts for the annual employee survey
*Assist with updating other departmental documentation as needed

Education, Experience, and Required Skills:
*Candidate for Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or similar degree is preferred
*Must have proficiency with all MS Office applications.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with sensitive information.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong attention to detail

Working Conditions:
*Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
*Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is required in designated areas.
