You will resolve optional and disability retirement problems which require the incumbent to utilize a comprehensive knowledge of retirement laws, regulations and procedures.

You will counsel employees regarding eligibility to continue Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) and Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) coverage into retirement.

You will complete optional and disability retirement actions electronically using the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS).
You will conduct briefings regarding retirement and benefits for the organization's serviced employees.
You will utilize the Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) to review employee pay data and solve benefits problems.
