We are seeking an IT Support Specialist at CCMS & Associates to provide end-to-end support to our internal team. This position requires strong communication skills, excellent teamwork, and technological support with a human touch. The IT Support Specialist is part of the IT team and reports directly to the Support Specialist Supervisor. This position is 100% remote. Initial training will be provided either remotely or at our main office location in Dunedin, Florida.

Benefits: Great pay, 10 days PTO (after 90 days), 7 paid holidays, Health Insurance paid at 60% for employee, 50% for family. Dental/Vision at 50%. Voluntary Insurance available. 100% Remote work setting.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-12pm Eastern Time. 20 hours/week with the potential for full-time for a qualified person who meets our requirements.
Compensation: $24.50/hr.

Overview: As an IT Support Specialist, you will be a crucial first responder providing comprehensive security and support in Information Technology across the organization. Your role involves maintaining the help desk ticketing system, offering front-end development utilizing HTML/CSS, and ensuring operational efficiency with a strong working knowledge of Python (or similar), Power BI, Power Automate, and Azure. Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering technological support with a human touch are essential.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide IT consulting across various departments and assist managers with IT-related needs.
  • Offer end-to-end support through the help desk ticketing system.
  • Perform front-end development tasks using HTML/CSS for development projects.
  • Train staff and customers on hardware and software programs to enhance IT support.
  • Identify and resolve errors, register complaints, and monitor IT system performance.
  • Use computer software to upgrade IT systems and ensure their security.
  • Document processes and conduct IT-related tests to diagnose and address problems.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends and technological advancements.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Degree, prior experience, or certificate in IT or Computer Science is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Highly proficient in HTML, CSS, Python (or similar), PowerBI, Power Automate, and Azure.
  • Well-versed in managing different IT systems and programs with emphasis on flexibility and comprehension of new systems.
  • Clean background check required.

Skills 

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles to complete IT projects.
  • Ability to create new tools for IT support and be resourceful in problem-solving.
