Loan Originations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Loan Operations Manager to oversee and lead our team of loan officers, loan processors, and loan underwriters. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of mortgage lending operations, and a proven track record of managing a successful team. This position is located in our Jacksonville, FL Headquarters.
Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership and direction to the loan operations team, including loan officers, processors, and underwriters.
· Develop and implement strategies to optimize loan processing efficiency, improve turn times, and enhance overall operational performance.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the loan origination and processing workflow.
· Manage and monitor loan pipelines to ensure timely and accurate processing and underwriting of loan applications.
· Collaborate with senior management to establish and achieve performance goals and objectives for the loan operations team.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives for team members.
· Serve as a point of escalation for complex loan scenarios, providing guidance and assistance to resolve issues as needed.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting mortgage lending operations.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Thorough understanding of loan origination processes, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.
· Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and motivating teams to achieve performance targets.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software (LOS) and Microsoft Office suite.
· Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Possess relevant certifications or licenses, such as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license, preferred but not required.

This position has a base salary of 83K and 89K, depending on experience and skill set. And there are quarterly incentives and bonus.
The bonus guidelines are listed below:
$8000.00 quarterly bonus as a Supervisor, no longer gets Overtime or paid for any loans they may work while people are out (as needed).
The following requirements must be met to receive the bonus:
30% - Team must have turn times between 4-6 hours form processing to approval (exceptions only if processing missed or held up for missing information from dealer we must also be fully staffed which falls on us.) Turn time report will be used to measure.
30% - QC acceptable must be 90% or higher for all team members -QC report used to measure
20% - Overall budget met for Florida Office. ( Core, Silver and Bronze) - Budget #'s to measure.
20% - Loan exceptions report - Will create a loan exception report to measure.
