Overview:

The Tampa Bay Academy of Hope is seeking a dynamic Partnership Coordinator for our Climate Labor Initiative: Maximizing Access to Training and Employment (CLIMATE) Program. This role is essential for developing and maintaining robust partnerships across multiple sectors including construction, information technology, and manufacturing, with a special focus on creating apprenticeship programs and employment opportunities for diverse job seekers, including ex-offenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain sustainable relationships with current and potential stakeholders through various sales and marketing initiatives such as telephone outreach, field visits, job fairs, direct mail, presentations, marketing materials, and social networking.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage communications and interactions with stakeholders, ensuring continuous engagement and collaboration. Organize and participate in meetings and networking events to promote the program's initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Meet and document weekly and monthly targets for prospecting calls, new employer appointments, job starts, verifications, and follow-ups with existing employers.
  • Program Promotion: Advocate for and inform stakeholders about specific program initiatives, such as matching ex-offenders with employment opportunities, emphasizing the benefits and goals of these initiatives.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain an updated roster of participant placements, potential job opportunities, and a database to track the program’s compliance and performance. Provide regular updates and reports to the Program Manager.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Program Coordinator and Outreach Recruiter to match program participants with appropriate employers based on skillset, career goals, and employer needs.
  • Research and Evaluation: Conduct research on the program’s success and impact. Analyze data to measure compliance with performance goals and identify areas for improvement.

Key Goals:

  • Enhance Partnership Network: Develop and strengthen relationships with at least 30 new employers and stakeholders each year to support the expansion of the CLIMATE program.
  • Support Program Initiatives: Successfully integrate special initiatives, such as employment programs for ex-offenders, into the partnership network to broaden the impact and reach of the program.
  • Achieve Performance Targets: Consistently meet or exceed defined performance metrics in recruitment, partnership development, and participant job placements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Public Relations, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in partnership development, sales, or marketing, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with database management and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of the labor market, particularly in the sectors of construction, IT, and manufacturing, is a plus.

Required Goals:

  • Expand Apprenticeship Offerings: Establish and research partners for three new apprenticeship programs across identified sectors, ensuring alignment with industry needs and employment trends.
  • Enhance Sector-Specific Pathways: Specifically develop and implement a comprehensive employment pathway for the hospitality sector.
  • Formalize Partnerships: Secure at least 24 Memorandums of Understanding with new and existing partners to strengthen cooperation and ensure commitment to shared objectives.
  • Provide monthly reports to the program manager as updates on the program progress and goals. Complete bi-monthly reports to the program manager.
