Job DescriptionJob Description

Quality Solutions is looking for a responsible Accounting Manager to perform a variety of bookkeeping, administrative and clerical tasks. Provide support to managers, assisting in daily office needs, verify bills, receipts, invoices, reconciling banking accounts, preparing reports, and maintaining filing systems.

Performance Qualifications and Expectations:

· Proven experience as a bookkeeper (references)

· QuickBooks: 2 years mandatory

· Bookkeeping: 2 years mandatory

· Capability to clearly communicate AP/AR and meet a constant stream of deadlines

· Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail and organizational skills

· Multi-tasking with high stress tolerance; thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

· General computer applications, proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Salesforce.

· Superior Analytical and problem-solving skills to review data and ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed.

· Ability to work discretely with confidential information.

· Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

· Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, Processing incoming payments and accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and procedures

· Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits and organizing and filing transaction document

  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Maintain contact lists and corresponding financial documents
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Working knowledge of GAAP, SFAS Rules and Financial Statement Reporting.

· Accurate use of grammar, spelling and punctuation in all communications including clearly legible handwriting

· Strict adherence to the attendance policy is required. Attendance and punctuality are an essential function to this position. Working in our Elk Grove office M-F 8AM – 5PM.

Responsibilities:

· Evaluating reports and verifying discrepancies to resolve client billing issues and to finalize client payments

· Generating financial reports and statements that detail the status of accounts payable

· Preparing and processing electronic payments, transfers, and financial transactions

  • Entering and uploading transaction reports and invoices into company databases
  • Sorting, matching, and filing invoices, expense reports (soft and hard copies)
  • Organizing and maintaining creditor and vendor files and corresponding with vendors and creditors
  • Maintaining accurate records and providing documentation for auditing and tax reporting purposes
