Role Overview

As a Project Consultant at Character Interiors, you will manage the sales lifecycle of kitchen, bath, and custom interior remodeling projects. This role involves working directly with homeowners through on-site reviews to design and implement their vision using best practices and available materials. You will leverage cutting-edge technology to create visualizations and design renderings, ensuring clients can see their dreams come to life. This position demands creative thinking and the ability to utilize existing space and materials effectively. Your goal is to help, educate, and enjoy the remodeling process alongside our homeowners, making their experience enjoyable and stress-free. This position is for a person who enjoys problem-solving and has creative solutions to sometimes complex issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in residential construction sales or a related field
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in project management tools and CRM software (e.g., AccuLynx, G Suite, Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations

Compensation

  • During the first 30 days, you will receive 1-on-1 training, followed by an additional 30 days of peer and ride-along training.
  • The Project Consultants base salary is $50,000 annually with the oppertunity to earn commission of up to 5% plus a 2% self generated business bonus.
  • Project Consultants receive company provided leads, but are required to self-generate 10% of their yearly sales goals with additional incentives provided for each self-generated sale.
  • A company vehicle provided upon reaching an agreed-upon sales milestone
  • One week of paid vacation.
  • Company-provided laptop, software, ongoing training, fuel card, and phone stipend.
