The Accounting Manager will collaborate with the Controller to analyze trends and variances for the TFO’s operations and monitor key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.  Will also be responsible for managing and maintaining all accounting related programs, databases, and reports.

  • Analyze month end financials and prepare variance reporting.
  • Prepare both internal and external reporting as needed.
  • Maintain and administrate Acumatica Accounting System.
  • Subject matter expert in Velixo reporting tool.
  • Assist with future implementation of Vitech (insurance and pension administration software).
  • Track fixed assets and calculate depreciation and amortization.
  • Assist with annual operating budgets.
  • Provide assistance as needed with account reconciliations.
  • Assist as needed with audits and tax preparation.
  • Support accounting department functions as needed.
  • Comply with the policies of the Trust Fund, as set forth in the Employee Handbook
  • Abide by organizational and HIPAA guidelines, privacy practices, and confidentiality.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field
  • 3 years prior experience in financial planning and analysis or budget development and analysis
  • 1 year prior experience in financial analysis, planning, budget development and analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP
  • Stellar analysis skills with the ability to create reports and communicate findings to non-financial colleagues
  • Able to think creatively, drive process improvement initiatives that impact the function of the organization
  • Strong technology mindset that allows for full adaptation into technology processes
