Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is recruiting for a Process/Refurbishment Technician in Poughkeepsie, NY In this position, you will be responsible for testing a variety of small to medium range electronic products e.g. laptops, personal computers, small servers, tablets, smart phones, printers, monitors, etc. to assess their condition. This is a 1st shift position with opportunities for growth, and to gain knowledge of a new product line for our client.

Responsibilities

  • Process inventory as it arrives at the facility.
  • Work with many different testing and repair equipment and tools.
  • Work in a production/lab setting receiving tested laptops in need of repair.
  • Grade devices based on physical appearance and functionality.
  • Perform factory resets using specific software.
  • Perform quality checks and keep an accurate log.
  • Package items to be shipped to customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Any experience with electronic repairs or refurbishment is a plus
  • Basic electrical concepts understanding.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • High energy with a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check.
