Position Overview
Nuvance Health operates a comprehensive network of healthcare facilities, ensuring quality service across various locations.
Role Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing the team involved in the reception, decontamination, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and instruments throughout the healthcare facility.
Qualifications:
Education: A minimum of one (1) year of college education with coursework in Business Administration or Management is required. The candidate must obtain Central Sterile Technician Certification within the first year of employment.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Central Sterile or Nursing, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory role, or equivalent experience is necessary.
Licensure: Not applicable.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Physical: The role may occasionally require light physical activity, including periods of standing, changes in position, or extended sitting.
Mental: The position may impose demands that could affect personal and social life, with regular work volume and deadlines contributing to routine stress.
Work Environment: This is a full-time position with standard hours of 40.00 per week, typically from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, within the Sterile Processing Department.
Compensation: The hourly wage is $46.27.
