Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily LEAN meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to Quality Control assembly checklists to assemble sub-assemblies and machinery.
- Ensure correct component placement using appropriate sealants and torque specifications.
- Operate forklifts for material handling after completing required training.
- Utilize hoists and lift tables following training completion.
- Comply with all Personal Protection Procedures and Safety Requirements.
- Follow OSHA and company safety protocols diligently.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and the ability to read and interpret schematics and circuits.
- Experience in mechanical assembly or repair.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Proficient in using standard shop tools, both manual and electric, such as drills and saws.
- Moderate skills in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical components.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of a one-year certificate from a technical school and one year of relevant experience, or two to five years of related experience.
- Ability to interpret safety regulations and operational instructions.
- Effective communication skills with colleagues, engineering teams, and supervisors.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Valid driver's license, subject to verification by company insurance.
