Job DescriptionJob Description

Texas Home Medical is a home medical equipment company focusing on sleep therapy equipment and supplies.  The Territory Manager is responsible for building and maintaining customer relations through constant communication and in-person appointments. You will be consulting office staff including Doctors, Referral Coordinators and MAs, on the benefits of our products and services in order to gain referrals. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals for the territory
  • Increase territory referrals by building and retaining strong business relationships
  • Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives
  • Identify the needs of new offices and develop appropriate communication tactics (written, telephone and face-to-face)
  • Manage new product introductions as they become available
  • Address any problems that arise at the account with orders or patients
  • Act with ethics and integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable federal, state & local laws and regulations, accreditation & licenser requirements, and Company policies & procedures
  • Work with Sales Manager by receiving coaching, training or mentoring
  • Maintain training outlined by sales manager

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and offices within the respiratory market
  • 2+ years sales success in medical industry (DME is a plus)
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms 
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
