Job DescriptionJob DescriptionElite Contracting Solutions is a design-focused general contractor based in Baltimore City.  We work with commercial properties as well as private home owners, and also manage a large Property Maintenance portfolio.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual who possesses intermediate-level experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable.  The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the construction industry and high-level thinking skills/abilities.  This candidate will be a team-player with detailed organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.  

This role is crucial in managing the financial transactions of the company on a daily basis. Candidate will be responsible for assisting the Financial/Office Manager with all bookkeeping-related tasks including invoice resolution, sorting out payment discrepancies, and general administrative office tasks.  This is a Full Time Salary position, on site in our Baltimore office.  

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in accounts receivable or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in using Quickbooks (2 years, minimum)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Ability to identity and participate in process improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field appreciated but not required
