An established cardiology practice in the Newton, NJ area is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The practice specializes in comprehensive treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. This is a full-time, permanent role. Candidates will working alongside a team of fellowship trained and board certified Physicians and APPs. Monday-Friday schedule, 9am-5pm. Optional weekend rounding in the hospital. NO call schedule. Local providers and new graduates with an interest in cardiology are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in clinic primarily performing stress tests, follow-up visits, and pre-operative exams
  • Round in the hospital as needed
  • Document patient care services
  • Exercise professional judgment 
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care

Qualifications:

  • Active New Jersey State License
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
