Permanent Support Staff: Staff Nurse/Teacher Assistant

Staff Nurse/Teacher Assistant, Permanent Support Staff (Anticipated)

Location:
Council Rock School District

Available:
2024/25 School Year

Hours/Schedule:
7 hours/day; 5 days/week (Benefit Eligible)

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid PA Registered Nurse license. The ideal candidate should comply with all Chapter 14 Regulations and be a certified healthcare provider. Current CPR/AED certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to students with Autism and medical disabilities.
- Support the school Health Suite operations.

Mandatory Documentation:
To commence employment in any PA public school, all personnel must complete essential paperwork. Background employment clearances must be current and include:

- PA State Police Clearance (Act 34)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprints (Act 114) IndentoGo
Additional documentation includes an Arrest/Conviction Report form, PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), physician's health form, and a recently completed TB test.
