We are driven to lead the industry in high-caliber, residential solar electric and roofing installations and we need a Marketing Manager to help deliver this message to our existing and future clients.

The successful candidate will understand our market channels and lead goals. They will also create and execute successful strategies and campaigns. In addition to operating our marketing and advertising channels, the Marketing Manager will also join American Solar & Roofing's Leadership Team, helping guide the company forward

Job Summary:

The Manager oversees all marketing content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads and customer engagement. This position works closely with the CEO.

This individual is an expert in content and platform optimization and brand consistency.

The job of the Manager is to ensure all marketing efforts are on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email and point of sale. Additionally, the Manager will lead all members of the marketing team while working directly with consultants, CEO and other key team members to implement, create and maintain marketing ideas and platforms. The manager will understand the sales goals and develop campaigns to achieve them.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand our services and offerings
  • Understand and maintain company brand in all initiatives
  • Deliver projects and tasks on-time
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors
  • Work closely with marketing consultants
  • Map out content strategy, both long-term and short-term; continuous evolvement of strategy is a must
  • Lead the creation and/or implementation of customer communications including emails, social media, and blogs
  • Lead the creation and/or implementation of the social media content plan
  • Identify opportunities to position the company and its CEO
  • Lead the planning and creation of marketing materials for all sales channels
  • Respond to media inquiries and evaluate opportunities
  • Support event planning for shows around the Phoenix Metro Area
  • Assist department with the creation of process documents

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven leadership and ability to lead a marketing team and drive results through others
  • Knowledge of/ability to supervise the development of different branding techniques & marketing campaigns
  • Well spoken, confident, personable, articulate, and enthusiastic with a genuine personality that will represent American Solar & Roofing professionally and proudly
  • Able to inspire a team by communicating shared goals and vision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and work independently within time constraints.
  • Able to work effectively, positively, and cooperatively with other staff, customers, and the public
  • Internally motivated, highly organized, thorough, conscientious, with a strong desire to win
  • Utilize a growth mindset to accept and deliver constructive feedback surrounding positive accountability for self and others

Qualifications - Required:

  • Education: B.A/B.S degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years in management with demonstrated proficiency in achieving sales objectives and performance goals
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass drug test

Physical Qualifications:

  • Long stretches of time sitting using a computer
