Job Overview:

The Key Account Manager for E-Commerce will manage and develop relationships with major retail partners such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart, and other key online channels. This role is crucial for driving sales growth through the effective management of product listings, promotional strategies, and overall account performance on e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in e-commerce, a deep understanding of online retail environments, and a proven ability to grow large accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management & E-Commerce:

    • Serve as the primary contact for key e-commerce accounts (Home Depot, Lowe’s, Walmart).
    • Optimize online product listings, including descriptions, images, and search keyword optimization.
    • Monitor and manage sales performance metrics such as conversion rates, traffic, and revenue.
    • Implement strategies for promotional campaigns, pricing, and inventory to drive growth.
  • Sales Growth:

    • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, product, supply chain) to ensure strategic alignment and execution of digital campaigns.
    • Identify and execute upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Build long-term relationships with retail partners and ensure their needs are met with timely solutions.
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting:

    • Create and execute annual commercial plans for each key account.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with retail partners to discuss performance and growth strategies.
    • Analyze data and market trends to refine account strategies and present findings to senior management.
  • Customer Support & Problem Resolution:

    • Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams to ensure the smooth delivery of products and solutions.
    • Address any issues or challenges with key accounts and implement solutions to maintain strong relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing e-commerce accounts, preferably with major retail partners like Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Walmart.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing strategies, and e-commerce platform operations.
  • Proven track record in sales and key account management with a focus on digital growth.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite or Acumatica), Excel, and CRM platforms.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the home improvement, kitchen, or bath product sectors is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Seller/Vendor Central).
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
