We are seeking an experienced Accountant III for a State Agency in Austin, TX.


Responsibilities:

  • Intermediate-level accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Daily manual entries into the general ledger and accounts receivable systems.
  • Daily reconciliation between multiple data sources.
  • Modify and run queries to extract data for required reports and tasks.
  • Communication with internal and external contacts to resolve unreconciled bills/payments.


Qualifications:

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree.Preferred degree in Accounting.
  • Additional years of work experience can be substituted for education.
  • Three (3) years of accounting systems and software.
  • Experience should include manual accounting entries (debits & credits), chart of accounts, and trial balances.
