Sr. Controller | Elkhart, IN | Up to $150K base salary | Reputable Manufacturer

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a reputable manufacturing company in Elkhart, IN that is looking to hire on a Senior Financial Controller. This person will be transitioned into a CFO role in 1-2 years, so we're looking for a strategic accounting professional with 7+ years of experience. Please read below for more details.

 

DIRECT HIRE

LOCATION: Elkhart, IN

SCHEDULE: Standard office hours, 8A-5P or 7A-4P. On Fridays, the day will end at 2:30PM.

SALARY: up to $150,000 + an additional bonus, based on individual performance.

BENEFITS: 2 weeks of vacation + 1 week of PTO (accrued). Medical, Dental and Vision coverage. Life and Disability insurance. 401(k) Plan. Onsite Gym

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the processes of budgeting, auditing, tax, accounting, financial forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.
  • Provide procedures to maintain proper records, accounting controls and services.
  • Prepare financial documents, reports, and budgets and periodic reports to other departments.
  • Provide oversight and direct preparation for external audits and tax requirements.
  • Directs and analyzes physical inventory.
  • Establish and maintain good relational contacts with parent company and financial associates.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience within Controller or higher-level financial positions.
  • This person MUST have manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience with cost accounting processes is required.
