Technical Senior Sales Representative
Our Chicago based client that is a leader within the IT Consulting Space is looking for an experienced and successful technical senior sales representative who has experience and specializes in new technology, latest technical trends, AI, cloud focused solutions. Our client is looking for a sharp and professional client focused individual and is someone who can train, sell, and be a client facing senior leader with the “Wow Factor”. The company is located in Chicago, but the successful candidate can be based anywhere within the U.S. Must have authorization to work within the U.S. and have strong written and oral communication skills
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical sales, with a focus on AI, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of client business processes and the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with experience managing and developing junior staff.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Drive sales initiatives for new tech solutions, focusing on AI and cloud-based offerings. Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a senior client-facing leader, fostering strong, trust-based relationships with key clients. Understand and align with client business goals to provide tailored tech solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in technology. Provide clients with expert advice on AI, cloud computing, and emerging tech.
- Team Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior sales staff, providing guidance, training, and support to develop their technical and sales skills.
- Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for both internal teams and clients on new technologies, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to succeed.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and market demands.
- Innovation & Insight: Contribute to the company's thought leadership by sharing insights on industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape.
