Position: NORR Chef
Location: Lake Forest + Travel
Hourly Rate: $22-28.00hr
Tax Status: Contractor

Schedule: Flexible, based on event scheduling. Opportunities for additional hours may be available based on performance, cultural fit, and company growth.

Responsibilities & Key Competencies:

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in the food industry.
  • Project Coordination: Proven experience in coordinating and administering large-scale projects from start to finish.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using project management tools and dashboards.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner, adaptable to new processes and tools.
  • Attitude: Possess a "whatever it takes" mentality and team-building spirit.
  • Self-Direction: Goal-oriented, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Duties:

  • Recipe Compliance: Follow recipes as per company guidelines.
  • Testing & Validation: Test cooking values to ensure accuracy.
  • Grocery Ordering: Order groceries for recipe development as needed.
  • Kitchen Support: Assist in daily test kitchen activities, including cleaning, organization, and inventory.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other related tasks to support NORR and CK's full food/recipe needs.
