Position Summary:

The Operations Support Lead will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints, generally providing a higher level of customer support on a specific product or service. keeps track of logistics and maintains the company’s inventory as necessary. She/He will analyze operational performance and resolve any issues, as well as collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations (i.e.: shipping, delivery, customer service, etc.) meeting quality and safety standards.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handling inquiries that come through from phone and emails with regard to customer question such as delivery dates, internal shop capabilities pricing.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
  • Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
  • Adding and maintaining company addresses and contact information in Quantum.
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
  • Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
  • Quotation generating using Quantum system.
  • Ability to research fair market value of services or products.
  • Lead, coach and mentor direct reports and their subordinates to consistently deliver excellence in their undertaking as individuals and team players. To ensure commitment and accountability at all levels by maintaining a cohesive organization motivated to meet and exceed expectations. To hire, discipline and terminate employees as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in Procurement and/or Customer Service.
  • Working experience of supply chain and inventory management software.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of FAA regulations preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects for completion in a timely manner.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years previous Procurement and/or Customer Service.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Basic understanding of different pricing formulation, e.g., fixed price, time, and material pricing mechanism.

 

Travel:

  • 5% Travel Required.

 

​Language:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

 

​Physical Demands:

  • Ability to constantly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting requirement up to 25 lbs.

 

​Working Conditions:

  • This position works in an office environment, with possible visits to repair stations and teardown facilities.
