Job description

We are looking for an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician with experience in manufacturing, the power industry, and facility maintenance. The company is a Packaging Manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have multicraft skills and be knowledgeable in PLCs, motor controls, relays, sensors, motors, and drives, along with the ability to troubleshoot and use measurement tools effectively.

Morning Shift- Full time

Orlando area

$28.00- $30.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems in manufacturing and power facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with PLCs, motor controls, relays, sensors, motors, and drives.
  • Use measurement tools like multimeters for diagnosing electrical problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly.
  • Work with the team to address facility maintenance needs.
  • Be flexible to work various shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s degree in a technical field or 18 months of related experience.
  • Experience: 2-3 years in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in a multicraft role.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools and measurement instruments.
  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, relays, sensors, motors, and drives.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for overtime.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
