As a Billing Specialist, you'll manage client invoicing, accounts receivable, and administrative tasks in a dynamic legal environment. Responsibilities for the Billing Specialist:

  • Review and enter accounts receivable write-offs.
  • Handle daily deposits and distribute relevant reports.
  • Enter and manage client expenses in the billing system.
  • Distribute attorney diaries and correct time entries as needed.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and report generation.
  • Maintain client files and billing information with high confidentiality.
  • Other miscellaneous duties and assignments as assigned.

Requirements for the Specialist:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous related experience in a law firm billing capacity is preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal billing software, preferably PerfectLaw.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong typing skills (minimum 50 words per minute) and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

Compensation for the Specialist:

  • Contract-to-hire.
  • Location: 100% on-site in Fort Worth
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM
  • Pay: $40k-$60k (Depending on experience)
  • Benefits: Benefits offered thru CornerStone while on contract
