Job Description: As the Adult Day Center Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our center. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members in delivering high-quality care, programming, and services to our participants. Reporting to CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the center's daily activities, programs, and administration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive programs and activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social well-being for participants.
  • Supervise and support a team of caregivers, activity coordinators, and administrative staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards governing adult day services, including health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Manage the center's budget, expenses, and financial operations effectively, optimizing resources and maximizing funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with community partners, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to enhance the center's services and outreach efforts.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of participants' needs and progress, adjusting programs and services accordingly to meet individualized goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between participants, families, and staff, addressing concerns, providing guidance, and facilitating communication.
  • Stay informed about trends, best practices, and innovations in the field of adult day services, continually seeking opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Uphold Credent Care's mission, values, and standards of excellence in all interactions and activities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Healthcare Administration, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role within the healthcare or senior services industry, with specific experience in adult day services strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of aging-related issues, disabilities, and supportive services, with a passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members and build positive relationships with participants and families.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
