NaanStop has a robust catering business that we are looking to continue to grow You will be responsible for growing our client base and maintaining existing relationships. The manager for catering and off-premise sales would assist in preparing, delivering, and presenting catering orders, as well as making sales calls by phone, email, and especially in-person. The manager for catering and off-premise sales would also lead off site vending, marketing events, and sampling opportunities to generate leads.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Deliver and present catering orders according to NaanStop standard to offices, homes, and event spaces
  • Communicating with guests via phone regarding order details and timeliness
  • Work with in-store team to prepare and package orders for delivery
  • Providing friendly, quality customer service to each potential and current NaanStop guest
  • Setting the highest standards in punctuality, communication, service, and teamwork
  • Daily prospecting to generate new catering leads including email blasts, phone calls, on-site visits, and attending networking events
  • Meet quota for in-person sales outreach
  • Interview, hire, and train delivery drivers
  • Develop systems, procedures, and checklists to ensure order accuracy and timely service
  • Approximately 50% of your time will be spent in our stores and delivering orders and 50% generating catering leads, following up with clients, writing thank-yous, etc
  • Running sampling events, popups and special events
  • Work is required primarily Monday – Friday from 8 am to 3 pm with some work on evenings and weekends (10 – 20%)
  • Option to work in-store for additional income

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Outgoing personality with a robust set of sales skills
  • Punctuality – Reliability is the most important ability
  • Strong worth ethic and determination to get through any challenge on your own
  • Outgoing, positive and professional personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50lb
  • Basic computer and technology skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, web and smartphone based applications.
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean vehicle and car insurance required
  • Innovative Problem-Solving – Delivery drivers may be faced with various challenges when dropping off and setting up orders. Must be able to think on your feet
  • Desire to be part of a NAANTASTIC team
