SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Senior Account Executive for its telecommunications client. This individual would be responsible for selling to state and local accounts, renewing contracts, increasing customer satisfaction, and improving revenue while driving customer retention activity. This is a new business development role, prospecting and hunting for new business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Recommend current and next-generation wireless telecommunication solutions, products and services to government customers.

·        Build and maintain strong business relationships with top- and mid-level officials.

·        Identify, access and call on key decision-makers, using creative sales approaches and strategies to develop new accounts.

·        Utilize strategic thinking and innovation to create opportunities for technological change based on customer needs; create, deliver and follow up on proposals and pricing quotes; and successfully close sales opportunities.

·        Provide customers with expert knowledge and assistance in mobility changes, cost/benefit analyses, implementation and training plans.

·        Understand and stay current on emerging wireless products and services, as well as general industry trends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 4+ years selling to State and Local Government accounts.
  • 2+ years of wireless industry sales required.
  • Record of achievement in meeting / exceeding goals in a commissioned sales environment.
  • Wireless systems, telecom or high-technology industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills required.
  • Extensive travel within geographic area required, up to 90% or more.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, use of CRM Sales Management tools.
