Summary:
Our company is seeking a highly skilled 5- Axis CNC mill machinist/programmer with experience working on high-speed vertical and horizontal mills. As a leading manufacturer of precision components, we utilize cutting-edge technology for a wide range of industries, including aerospace, naval, heavy equipment, energy production, and more. This position will challenge you on a daily basis to be at your best and to develop your skill set on some of the most advanced CNC machines available today.

Responsibilities:
·       The ability to set up complex jobs on 5 axis CNC mills (including the DMG Mori DMU 210P).
·       Programming and adjusting Siemens NX for optimum performance and speed.
·       Ensure that all parts are in accordance with specifications and within tolerances of +.0005.
·       Ensure that job planning is coordinated with Engineering and Design.
·       Contribute to the improvement of machining practices by bringing ideas to the table.
 

Qualifications and Skills:
·       Understand the complexity and challenges associated with working in a job shop setting.
·       Be confident in your abilities while being open to learning cutting-edge machining processes.
·       Be able to utilize integrated probing systems in order to verify dimensions and determine offsets.
·       Understand high-efficiency tool paths, shrink fit holders, and specific cutters for various processes.
·       Understand how to use plane spatial and plane axial functions.
