JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a professional and energetic person to greet our patients and make them feel welcomed This position is responsible for working with patients to understand and accept the recommended treatment plans and subsequently coordinate the treatment plan to work for both the patient and the practice’s schedule. This position goes far beyond the typical front office duties, and will require maturity, dependability, and attention to detail. Prior Dental, Orthodontia, Pediatric dentistry preferred but not required. We are hiring for our Maple Valley and Kent locations

You Will Also Be:

  • Answering phones with a smile. You are the voice of the practice and an extension of the atmosphere of our office.
  • Checking patients in and scheduling their next appointment
  • Payment collections
  • Insurance Verification
  • Accurately entering patient information in to our practice management system
  • Duties will be increased with more experience
  • Must work weekly and able to cover on calls as needed.
  • Must be reliable, consistent, self- motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Paying attention to detail is a must.

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

No experience is required but the ideal candidate will have some relevant experience, including but not limited to the following:

  • Superior customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care
  • Ability to operate multiple computer programs effectively and efficiently
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to learn new skills and work well with a team
  • Minimum of 1 yr experience medical front desk (dental experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 yr experience verifying medical/dental insurances

Compensation range of $20 - $24 per hr and will be determined by experience
