As the Sales and Logistics Specialist, I play an important role in supporting the Tempest sales teams in sourcing equipment and coordinating repair services fulfillment to meet our customers’ needs.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Sourcing: Source and purchase parts and equipment to fulfill customer orders. Maintain relationships to improve ongoing supply.

· Quote and Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end order processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing quotes and orders and maintaining up-to-date records. Provide regular updates to the sales team and management.

· Logistics Management: Coordinate shipping carriers and schedule equipment pickup. Acquire inbound tracking, customs clearance, etc. Reschedule and find lost shipments.

· Project Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the buyer and the warehouse teams to schedule inbound freight, schedule equipment set-ups and teardowns, and expedite critical orders. Liaison between the Account Manager/Account Executive and the operations team.

· Customer Support: Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries and requests, providing timely and accurate responses and escalating issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred) or 2-5 years of sourcing/purchasing experience.

· Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized work style.

· Consistently act with a sense of urgency to achieve organizational performance goals.

· Solid analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.

· Ability to follow and give both written and verbal instructions

· Confident in working with direction both independently and with others.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel required.

· Experience in NetSuite ERP System preferred.

Competitive Salary plus commission
