Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will be a key member of the metrics and data integration team, working closely with the Data Analytics Manager, the MyEvolv (ME) Upgrade Team, and Program Directors/Managers depending on the particular project. The main role will be to work with data to provide reports on a weekly and monthly basis, along with valuable insights. This includes managing productivity data, client data such as diagnosis information, and metrics from quality software inputs, county and payor data sets, and various databases, primarily using Tableau and Excel.


Key Responsibilities:

· Perform ongoing data quality assessments, identify discrepancies/inconsistencies, and resolve them.

· Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources.

· Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and tools.

· Generate routine reports weekly and create dashboards to communicate findings.

· Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.

· Work with Data Analytics Manager to develop and maintain dashboards.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.

· Support data quality initiatives and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.

· Contribute to the development and maintenance of databases and data systems.

· Perform Ad-Hoc data requests.

· Document data analysis and reporting architecture, designs, and user guides.

· Perform other related duties as required and assigned.


General Requirements:

· Advanced-to-expert with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.

· Great communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to author and produce emails, letters, reports, and other documents professionally.

· Ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of employees within the organization.

· Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills.

· Ability to appear at work every day and on time. Driving to various locations on behalf of SCCS may be required.

· Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.

· Ability to understand and follow posted, printed, and/or electronic work rules and procedures.

· Ability to accept constructive criticism in a respectful, open, and interactive manner.

· Experience working with people over the phone or Zoom.

· Must have the ability to perform efficiently and effectively with multiple interruptions.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a closely related field.

· Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL.

· Good understanding of relational databases, data cleaning, data mining concepts, and ETL.

· Familiar with Business Intelligence tools and able to create and maintain online dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Sisense).

· Proficiency in MS Excel, including V-lookups, H-lookups, and importing/exporting data from external sources, as well as pivot tables, is required. Experience with macros and VBA is a plus.

· Highly analytical mindset with strong technical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.

· Experienced in creating reports and analyzing data.

· Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively within a team to execute on shared goals and deadlines.

· Detail-oriented and capable of identifying and resolving data quality issues.

· Able to work with minimal supervision.

· At least 1 year of experience in data analytics, reporting, or related fields.

· Must be authorized to work in the US.


Preferred Qualifications:

· Internship or project experience in data analysis or a related field.

· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.


Licensure, Registration, Certification:

· Valid CA driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
