Seeking a tech-savvy community assistant with an enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will undertake routine clerical and technical duties at The Meadows Community Lifestyles & Wellness Facility. A customer-oriented approach is essential. No benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and address all visitors’ concerns in a positive and friendly manner.
  • Assist in setting up rooms for meeting needs, such as presentations, Zoom assistance, video conferencing, thermostat check, name tents, hand-outs, microphones, etc.
  • Direct visitors to their meeting room.
  • Assist with community center electric signage messaging board.
  • Prepare Opti Signs electronic sign system.
  • Provide support to set up and break down meeting rooms as needed
  • Accept deliveries.
  • Provide building tours as requested.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Monitor office/kitchen/bathroom supplies and make supply requests when necessary. Restock as needed between janitorial service days.
  • Always keeping meeting schedule
  • Maintain registrations/sign-ups & cancellations for events.
  • Ensure the reception area is kept in a professional appearance with all necessary material.
  • Unlocking & locking the building as needed.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • General knowledge of PC maintenance and network operations.
  • Proficient with Zoom conference services including user support.
  • Knowledge of setting up PowerPoint presentations.
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends when needed
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • High School diploma: additional qualifications will be a plus
