Freight Broker Sales

MZM Transports is a rising star in the transportation & logistics industry. Our dynamic, innovative, high performance freight brokerage is on the lookout for a talented and driven young freight broker to join our growing team. As a young and up-and-coming lbroker, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize the transportation industry.

 

Role

As a Freight Broker with our company, you will play a pivotal role in connecting with potential shippers and manufacturers. Your mission is to understand their operations and identify how our services can add value, whether through improved logistics solutions, better rates, or both.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Reach out to potential shippers and manufacturing via emails, cold calls, social media, and site visits. Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their logistics needs and challenges.
  • Acquisitions: Present our services as solutions that can enhance their operations, offering competitive rates and superior service. Develop and execute sales strategies that effectively utilize various communication channels to build strong client relationships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our brokers to ensure that client needs are met and that we consistently deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or GED Equivalent

  • Minimum of 1yr Sales Experience

  • Minimum of 1yr Experience in Transportation & Logistics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Relentless work ethic

  • High Achiever

  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.

  • Problem-solving abilities
