Desktop/Deskside Support Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Desktop/Deskside Support Engineer who can provide maintenance and support services in a highly demanding environment. The successful candidate will have experience delivering these services in a corporate environment with a preference for manufacturing or automotive experience. A track record of exceptional customer service is a must.
Job Description:
- Work on-site and/or via remote connection to assist with computer hardware and software issues.
- Assist with hardware installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, and basic IT-related issues.
- Advise on software or hardware upgrades.
- Install and maintain hardware and computer peripherals.
- Install and upgrade operating systems and computer software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot networking and connection issues.
- Contact clients to identify issues and respond to their support requests.
- Able to travel to the client's location such as deskside or shop floor or connect via a remote link.
- Provide fast and effective support for clients experiencing basic hardware and software issues.
- Provide basic training in computer operation and management.
- Must have extensive home and office systems knowledge, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills.
- Complete job reports.
- Certification in CompTIA + would be beneficial but not mandatory
- Experience of working in a manufacturing / automotive would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.

- Routine administrative skills.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the usual and customary methods of performing the job functions, including: a variety of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Pay: $26/ hr
Shift Schedule:
2nd Shift: 1:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Some Saturdays required
