Malvern Glass, Inc is a family-owned glazing contractor located in Malvern, PA. We are seeking an experienced Receiving Coordinator to join our team.

The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for processing incoming shipments, inspecting shipments for damage, and maintaining organized material records. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented and have work experience in shipping and receiving. Experience with construction or manufacturing shipments preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments, carefully inspecting and verifying the contents against packing slips to ensure accuracy
  • Accurately record and document received materials, noting any discrepancies or damages
  • Organize and stock received items in designated warehouse/yard locations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Shop Manager and other team members to address any material shipment related issues promptly
  • Assist in unloading delivery trucks, adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Keep the receiving area and material storage area clean, organized, and free from obstructions
  • Communicate effectively with fabricators and installers to direct them to locations of materials needed
  • Primary contact for freight companies and drivers

Qualifications:

  • Experience receiving materials and supplies in a warehouse/shop environment preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail, capable of accurately inspecting and verifying incoming shipments
  • Ability to learn new skills and take on more responsibility
  • Physical ability to lift and move packages, as well as stand for extended periods during receiving activities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
