Title: Part-Time State Farm Customer Service Representative
Job Description: We are currently seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to join our team at State Farm Greg Leffler Agency. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients by addressing their inquiries, making policy changes, assisting with claim filing, processing payments, and answering general coverage questions. As a customer service representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience and receive the assistance they need.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently
- Assist customers with making policy changes, including adding or removing coverage and updating personal information
- Guide customers through the process of filing claims, providing necessary information and ensuring a smooth claims experience
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all transactions are completed in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Answer general coverage questions and provide information on various insurance products and services offered by State Farm
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation of interactions, ensuring all information is up to date and easily accessible
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve complex customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and company policies to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively explain complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve customer issues
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with customer service software, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate customer records and documentation
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet customer needs
- Must be available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours based on business needs
