Urgently Hiring: Air & Ocean Import/Export Clerk
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Rate: $23/hr
We are seeking a dedicated Air & Ocean Import/Export Clerk to join our team in Torrance. This role is essential in managing both air and ocean freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle general operations, including AES filings, scheduling pickups, and generating/managing documents such as Bills of Lading (BOL).
- Maintain and update shipment files.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding shipment statuses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an air freight forwarding environment.
- Strong understanding of load plans, manifests, Bills of Lading, and other critical documentation.
- Proficient in handling carrier bookings and freight coordination.
- Experience with AES and SCE processes.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and related software programs.
- Familiarity with Cargowise or similar logistics software.
