Job Summary:

The Home Improvement Residential Division Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the residential home improvement division. This includes the Sales TEAM, ensuring project completion within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The Manager will lead a TEAM of professionals, coordinate with various departments, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a TEAM of sales representatives to maximize their potential and performance

  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to forecast sales volumes and set realistic sales targets.

  • Experience with developing and managing canvassing TEAMs

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of residential home improvement projects.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.

TEAM Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales TEAM, project managers, coordinators, and field staff.

  • Conduct regular TEAM meetings to ensure alignment and communication.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Customer Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

  • Handle any customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively.

Budget and Financial Management:

  •  Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure financial targets are met.

  •  Approve project-related expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place.

  •  Prepare financial updates and forecasts for senior management.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

  • Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Subcontractor Management:

  •  Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors.

  •  Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

  •  Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety, company standards and project specifications.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses for projects.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in residential construction and/or home improvement.

  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in a leadership role, with strong team management skills.

Skills:

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership and TEAM-building abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Enterprise and Salesforce CRM software.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.

  • Valid driver’s license.
