Precision Door Service, a leading provider of garage door repair services, is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to oversee the administrative operations of our residential division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth process of operations between our corporate office and field teams, as well as assisting the Branch Manager in evaluating market efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve business objectives.
- Communicate and embody the company vision and values, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Assess departmental and company processes to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, addressing their concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage scheduling and time-off requests for employees in the residential division.
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely completion of new hire paperwork, benefits, and other HR-related tasks.
- Manage timecard punches, paid time off requests, and promissory notes for employees in the residential division.
- Serve as a liaison between the corporate office and employees, addressing inquiries and concerns related to employee matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the overhead door industry and business operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct team members.
- Strong time management and delegation skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and streamline processes to maximize productivity.
- Negotiation and mediation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts efficiently and favorably.
- Decision-making skills, with the ability to weigh costs and benefits and determine the best course of action to achieve business objectives.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze past and current performance and recommend objectives to improve productivity and profitability.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Service Titan, and Paylocity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a self-motivated and self-starter attitude.
- Must possess a current valid driver's license and be able to pass a standard drug test.
