Construction Project Engineer

Project Engineer - Luxury Ski-In/Ski-Out Condominium Project - Deer Valley, UT
We are a General Contractor seeking a talented and driven Project Engineer to join our team for an exclusive 50-unit ski-in/ski-out condominium development. This is a very prestigious project totaling $500MM+, and it has set records in Utah for total unit costs and price per square foot. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a prestigious project that demands excellence in every aspect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing and coordinating construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues or challenges that may arise.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost analyses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a or 2-year degree in construction management from an accredited institution (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Practical experience in construction projects, through internships or co-op placements, is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proficient in Google Sheets with advanced skills in data analysis, formula creation, and reporting.
- Excellent typing speed of at least 65 words per minute.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.
- Bilingual English / Spanish is helpful but not required.
- Ability to do some drafting and clash detection is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to communicate in a professional and efficient manner.
