Role Overview
The Construction Project Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting Project Managers to guarantee that all work performed aligns with project specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance by thoroughly understanding project plans and specifications.
2. Review shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and adherence to project standards.
3. Analyze plans for value engineering and feasibility, ensuring optimal material selection.
4. Communicate any discrepancies to the design team.
5. Propose labor-saving and cost-effective strategies to enhance project efficiency.
6. Attend project meetings, documenting discussions and distributing minutes to stakeholders.
7. Prepare and disseminate weekly progress reports for assigned projects.
8. Update project schedules as necessary and assist in the bidding process.
9. Collaborate with the project superintendent to establish timelines for receiving shop drawings and critical milestones.

Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
4. Flexibility to adapt plans and approaches to meet project goals.
5. Team-oriented mindset, willing to assist colleagues and clients in achieving their objectives.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
7. Eagerness to learn and apply new job-related information quickly.
