Job Summary

Markets and sells automotive products and services to established clients & new clients in person and over the phone, both wholesale and retail. Provides industry knowledgeable expertise for all the products and services we provide. Clients expect our inside sales people to be the subject matter experts in our industry, therefore, they must acquire the knowledge to be proficient. They must also provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction to ensure an excellent customer experience is achieved.

General Accountabilities

  • Markets and sells the company's products or services.
  • Projects a warm, inviting and trustworthy image on the phone.
  • Must exhibit a sincere desire to satisfy clients’ needs and meet/exceed their expectations.
  • Prepares bids and quotes.
  • Ensures 100% accuracy of all orders that are estimates, issued and fulfilled.
  • Answers customer inquiries.
  • Keeps the customers informed on the status of their parts, repairs or other services.
  • Provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Researches industry knowledge of our products and services to ensure the right product or solution is provided to the customer.
  • Researches new product requests and writes orders.
  • Negotiates pricing and availability with vendors.
  • Keep the showroom, waiting room and common customer’s areas clean & neat. In depth cleaning as required.
  • Keep showrooms stocked with product at all times.
  • Look for other products customers want that we can sell.
  • Serves as a liaison between the customer and other departments as required.
  • Accurate end of day closeout.
  • Tracks and prepares reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to be at work every day through start to end of shift.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferable. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Automotive knowledge is a must.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in our field.
  • Must write and speak fluent English. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. continuously as required.
  • Technology proficiency is a must; Point of Sale computer software, e-mail, voicemail, website access, basic MS Office knowledge, credit card and tele-check machines.
  • Ability to learn and be proficient in the knowledge of all our products and services.
