As an Administrative Assistant and Mortuary Sales representative at Affordable Burial and Cremation Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and assisting families with funeral planning and related services. This dual role requires a blend of administrative skills, customer service excellence, and sensitivity to the needs of grieving families. Responsibilities include:

 

Administrative Support:

  - Manage office tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.

  - Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

  - Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies.

-          Light bookkeeping and accounts payable.

 

 

Mortuary Sales:

  - Guide families through the selection of funeral products and services, including caskets, urns, floral arrangements, and memorialization options.

  - Provide compassionate support and information regarding pricing, service packages, and payment options.

  - Collaborate with funeral directors to ensure seamless coordination of services.

 

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or customer service role.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathetically interact with grieving families.

- Organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Knowledge of basic office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite, Word, Excel).

- Sensitivity to cultural and religious practices related to funeral services (training will be provided).

- Sales experience or willingness to learn about funeral products and services.

- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but is not required.
