Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the daily Accounts Payable functions which including verifying invoices and matching to appropriate Purchase Orders.
- Follow AP systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information.
- Communicate with vendors via telephone and/or email to resolve billing issues.
- Work with purchasing departments to resolve issues related to invoices and/or purchase order approvals.
- Compile reports and prepare spreadsheets as required by management.
- Work on special projects as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Accounts Payable experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- AA/AS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting preferred
