We go to trial to ensure our clients receive the justice they deserve, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Litigation Paralegal to join our team.
About the Position: Summary: As a Litigation Paralegal at Abogadas305, you will play a key role in supporting our attorneys and contributing to the success of our cases. This position is ideal for recent college graduates who are passionate about the legal field and are considering law school in the future. The individual who is currently in this role is leavings us to go to law school with a full tuition scholarship We empower our employees to pursue their dreams and passions Here, you will gain hands-on experience in case management, legal drafting, and trial preparation, providing you with a solid foundation for your future legal career.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and filing crucial legal documents, including motions and discovery requests.
- Conduct thorough legal research and contribute to case strategy development.
- Facilitate communication among clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Prepare cases for trial, including compiling Trial Notebooks, Witness Binders, and Evidence Binders.
- Support various aspects of trial preparation to ensure readiness.
- Assist in discovery and ensure witness preparation for trial.
- Respond to discovery requests efficiently, utilizing online client responses.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Interest in pursuing a career in law and possibly attending law school in the future.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in word processing and email.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a MUST
