Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal to join our client's dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in managing and resolving bodily injury cases. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation related to personal injury litigation. THIS POSTIION IS ON-SITE.

**Responsibilities:**1. **Case Management:**
- Assist attorneys in the management of bodily injury litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Maintain organized case files, ensuring all relevant documents and information are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.2. **Document Review and Analysis:**
- Review medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents to gather and organize information related to bodily injury claims.
- Summarize and analyze complex legal documents, identifying key issues and discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists.3. **Communication and Coordination:**
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate the exchange of information and scheduling of events.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision.4. **Legal Research:**
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations related to bodily injury litigation.
- Conduct legal research on relevant precedents, statutes, and case law.5. **Trial Support:**
- Assist attorneys during trial preparation, including the organization of exhibits and trial notebooks.
- Attend trials to provide support, such as managing exhibits and assisting with witness coordination.**Qualifications:**1. **Education:**
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred.2. **Experience:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in bodily injury litigation.3. **Skills:**
- Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures related to bodily injury cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research and document analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.4. **Software Proficiency:**
- Proficient in legal case management software a including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat or Kodax, Faster Suite, Clio or other case/document management software is required.- Experienced with E-Filing, time entries, billing and calendaring.5. **Team Player:**
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
