About the Position:
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our inside sales team as a part-time or full-time Business Development Representative. As part of our business development team, you’ll play a crucial role in promoting our cutting-edge SaaS solutions, including our award-winning BestMARC, to schools and libraries.
About You:
A driven and self-motivated individual that possesses excellent communication skills and a strong ability to relate to librarians, catalogers, administrators and other school and library personnel. Responsibilities include:
· Implementing Sales Strategies: Work closely with the Sales Manager to implement effective sales strategies to drive new sales
· Sales Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients, including libraries, educational institutions, and information professionals.
· Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
· Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our SaaS offerings, including BestMARC and other library services.
· Pipeline Management: Manage leads, track progress, and close deals.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Self-Motivated: Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as a team.
· Experience: Sales experience is a plus, preferably in SaaS or technology sales but not required.
· Library Background: Familiarity with library systems, cataloging, and MARC records is a plus.
