Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software troubleshooting, and network protocols.
The Field Support Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure hardware and software. This position supports a broad range of IT hardware and software.
Should have basic hands experience on AV support, managing video conference support and devices, Microsoft Team rooms support.
Duties:
- Provide technical support to end-users on various IT issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of LAN networks.
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing company and multi-vendor systems which include hardware, software, and networking products as well as operating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve various hardware performance issues, make decisions when appropriate related to replacing existing user workstation equipment and carry out the entire product replacement process, including the removal of existing IT assets as well as the implementation of new IT assets.
- Analyze and resolve technical problems related to computer hardware and software.
- Support mobile devices and ensure their proper functionality.
- Collaborate with the IT team to enhance IT infrastructure.
- Implement security measures such as firewall configurations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Windows operating systems and Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge of LAN networks, IT infrastructure, and software troubleshooting.
- Experience in providing IT support to end-users.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewall systems.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Familiarity with mobile device management.
- Experience in working with various network protocols.
- Knowledge of analyzing and optimizing IT infrastructure.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
